January 2015 New Starters – We would like to welcome Jeff Walton and Mani Barhey to the NSI family. Jeff is our new Quality Manager and Mani our Business Improvement Manager. “Great to have you both on board and looking forward to working with you guys”
Both Jeff and Mani bring years of experience in their related fields. They will strengthen our management team as we continue to drive change through our organisation for the benefit of our customers.
December 2014 WOW!!!! 250,000 tons of processed steel plate and over 5 million parts!!! – NSI has just surpassed laser processing 250,000 tonnes of steel with our Trumpf laser machines. In terms of actual parts we have now laser cut over 5 million parts and counting!

November 2014 Additional Press Brake capacity – Due to increased demand we have now installed our fifth Trumpf press brake. The V130 complements our current range of Trumpf press brakes and will enable us to meet our current and future capacity requirements in this area.
October 2014 Connected!!! – Our new facility has now been connected and is fully integrated into our existing IT network enabling the seamless planning and control of all production in all areas. This gives us the ability to control all of our processes no matter which facility we are located in.
September 2014 New machinery. NSI takes delivery of 3 Fanuc robotic welding cells and these will enter production in October. This is great news for our customers and enables large batch runs of welded assemblies to be produced efficiently and to the highest quality standards.
August 2014 New facility up and running. Our dedicated fabrication facility goes live. This modern manufacturing facility doubles are manufacturing space and gives us the ability to meet our future growth in our fabrication division.
July 2014 New Machinery. NSI takes delivery of our Haeger 618 Fastener Insertion System. The machine provides a quick and efficient way of inserting all types and sizes of self clinching nuts.
June 2014 New Machinery. NSI introduces a new CNC rolling machine to compliment and add additional rolling capacity. The Roundo 4 roller CNC controlled machine is perfect for medium to large batch runs and offers greater flexibility.
March 2014 NSI Expansion. Due to extensive growth in our fabrication division, NSI have purchased a new 55,000 Sq. Ft manufacturing facility, located minutes from our current facility. This new facility will become our dedicated fabrication facility and our other facility will be our dedicated laser facility. This will provide NSI with over 100,000 Sq. Ft of manufacturing space.
November 2013 NSI adds to our machinery a new vertical machining centre. The Haas VF4 will complement our current machining centre and offer greater productivity and efficiency
September 2013 NSI goes live with our new state of the art production control software. The system enables us to monitor and analysise all of our production orders and also enable us to monitor the performance of our workplaces within the facility
May 2013 Our newest flatbed laser from Trumpf enters full production. The 3040 machine adds to are existing flatbed lasers offering the most efficient and productive machine on the market
February 2013 Light on and cutting! for our newest 5-axis laser. The Trumpf 7040 machine replaces our TLC1005 machine and brings the latest in 5-axis technology. Equipped with an additional rotary axis and split cabins for efficient high volume production, this machine offers the flexibility and performance required in today’s manufacturing environment
